Nov. 18th Michael Shomsky and I (Stephen Regenold) climbed "Psuedo Wiessner" today. We left Frank Sanders' house at about 8 a.m. and were soon climbing in 30-degree temps and snow. Pitch one and two went well, but on top of the first pillar, we looked out and saw a huge cloud white coming at us. We were alone on the Tower and things seemed very ominous. So we hung out and when the cloud of white made it to us, we found that it was just fog and some fluffy snow not the blizzard we were anticipating. The crux pitch went well (despite its mean offwidth stature). The fourth pitch was easy and we cruised it up until the strange move over the Jump Traverse. I led the last pitch quickly to the top and we made it in time to watch the sunset. We rapped in the dark and got back to Frank's house just as the pot of stew was finished cooking.
