Thanks to theyogiclimber for adding this peak.

Governors Ridge is located in the east side of Mount Rainier National Park. The highest peak is called Governors Peak. This serrated ridge with multiple peaks and needles is a prominent feature seen from the Highway 410 switchbacks between Cayuse and Chinook Passes. It's also a highlight of the Owyhigh Lakes area. Barrier Peak is immediately south of Governors, and Tamanos Mountain to the west. The name honors all the governors who have served the state of Washington. Access via the Owyhigh Lakes Trail, nine miles round-trip and 3000 feet elevation gain.

Prominence: 1240 feet.
