Thanks to Thomas Wilken for adding this peak.

The maria Lloco stands a bit in the shadow of its famous neighbour Huayna Potosi, but Maria Lloco itself is also an impressive mountain figure. Its steep western ice wall is an interesting but not too difficult climb. But the normal route leads through slidy rocks and later an easy ice field. Maria Lloco offer fantastic views in the western wall of Huayna Potosi, to the Condoriri group and over the yungas.

The ascend is from the end of the Tuni valley, you pass El Alto and turn right in Patamanta. Follow this unpaved road to Tuni village, than after a curve continue to the end of the valley, there is a very basic camping side called Maria Lloco. This camp is used for the Condoriri Trek, too.
