Thanks to Mike Surfer for adding this peak.

Sniktau is a small 13er and a good starting mountain for novice climbers. It has an established trail, with parking at the trailhead, located on the east side of Loveland Pass, U.S. 6, four miles south of the Loveland Ski area. Take the maintained trail east until it is just a dirt path, then follow that until you reach the top of Point 12,900. From there, head north approximately one mile before reaching another an unnamed 13,000 foot peak, then continue about 1/2 mile to the north to reach the summit of Mt. Sniktau. It is about 5.5 miles round trip. You can also reach Grizzly Peak from this trail, and continue a traverse to 14er Torreys Peak from the west side.
