Thanks to Harish Rawat for adding this peak.

Dunagiri is a peak in the Kumaon region of Uttaranchal. The altitude of this peak is 7,066 m. It provides the longest view of the Himalayas in this region of kumaon & garhwal.

The enchanting and divine beauty and aura of these peaks in the morning and evening is spellbound and beyond the imagination. Actually its first unsuccesful attempt is in 1939 by Andre Rock & party.

But it got succeded in 1976. It is reachable from both sides of kumaon & Garhwal by Ranikhet In kumaon & joshimath in Garhwal. It is one of the seven thousanders of the world,

Thanks to Harish Rawat for this description.
