My name is Roy. I live in Finland, speak a few languages and I have also studied management. My hobbies are merely editing Internet and photography. I speak fluently; Finnish, Swedish and English and I have good knowledge in some other languages too. Wellcome too see my photos and climbing stories ! My latest climb is Matterhorn and Hörnli Ridge. When summer 2013 comes I will try a technically difficult (TD) climb near Zermatt to improve my skills and understanding. Please mail me if you are climbing in July. A hut near Mulhacen 2, which is only a quarter of hours walk from Mulhacen. This one is small, but more windproof than the bigger hut on the top of Mulhacen. - Mulhacen

Footpath near Poqueira hut at 2500 meters height, from here this splendid path leads to Capileira (1400m) following river Rio Poqueira very close. Plenty of water available ! This walk takes around 4 hours and total of 6 hours when climbing down from the Mulhacen. Go straight down from Mulhacen 2 and you will go allmost birdway to Capileira. There is also hostals (B&Bs) in Bubion and Pampaneira where I stayed. - Alcazaba

The river Arroyo de Huenes at the north side of Trevenque some hundred meters lower. Next water taking place is the river Rio Dilar at the other side of Cuerda del Trevenque and some hundred meters lower ! Arroyo de Huenes continues down to Monachil, but is not easy or comfortable to follow, like river Rio Dilar is. From Dilar one can acces Trevenque roughly in four or five hours time.
