I took this photo climbing Zinalrothorn using Rothorngrat and traverse. It was 8:30 AM, about 4000m altitude, 1999 august 12th (my birthday...) We are looking South-West. On left in the distance we recognize Matterhorn 4477m, and on right we can see Ober Gabelhorn and its impressive icy North face. - Mount Kenya

View from the point Lenana summit, climbed as acclimatisation the day before we reached Batian summit. We can see Nelion peak at rising sun, 6:30 PM looking North-West direction, up to Lewis glacier. - Monte Etna

july 30th 2004, 6 past 15, the morning after we summited Batian peak using north east route from Mackinder valley. On this photo we can see the whole highest part of the route, with Amphitheatre and Firmin tower upward on left center. Temperature was 7°C under zero. - Weisshorn
