While late autumn ascent ,during the Sicily trip as seen from the southern slopes. picture is taken while having short break passing the old craters at noon under very good conditions, steady, roughly at the height 2800 metres few moments before final decision to not carry on on peak as we were advised by local professionals guarding the area and the physical conditions.next time better preparation.
this a view over the mountains of high tatras, north slovakia
from the top of the dumbier during the trip with my brother and his son in the summer of 2007.the mountain is scalable with no difficulties. it's a fine hiking with stunning reward at its peak as you may agree or not. the earlier you start your ascend the nicer view you get especially in this period when nature blossom itself and with bit of luck you may see the peaks in the big distance.descend is no less interesting by the way as the whole valley ending in the paradise you wish to stay...all in all we couldn't complain. tomi, andy, vlado
a rainy walk was undertook to reach this peak, all way up we were exposed to strong wind and thick mist not knowing where we were
as we suddenly appeared briefly under the top surrounded by sun shine, man!it's always counts not to give up.
