As the Director of Capricarn Adventure I would suggest climbing to top of hill from base camp area with a stove and tea, open bivi at base of slope. Depart for summit at 4.30am and you'll be back in time for dinner to your Base Camp. The summit ridge should be gained soon as you can for better views and atmosphere and the rocky step below the summit can be skirted on the right for novices. Exercise caution on the loose stone debris if you follow to left or climb right over the rocky ridge. Enjoy. As a mention it was 1992 that I took a group of climbers and we all carried our mountainbikes up to the 'bowl' at the base of the last slope to summit. We filmed for Thames Television our silly bike ride down from there but saved a lot of time getting back to the roadhead.
