Snøhetta

Tried to summit Snohetta in November '90,but it proved to be to difficult,many due to the fresh snow making every step sink in the snow.Made an igloo next to the Reinham Hut and slept in my sleeping bag.Ptamagans were crocking all night sounding like frogs.Next day climbed Storkin behind Reinham instead,then walked back to catch the train.

Came across many Musk ox and Moose and her calf.

Came back in the Summer of '91 to try Snohetta again,stayed overnight at Reinham hut,this is a very handy hut,great fire and good company.The next day walked up the east ridge to the summit,wonderful views of Dovrefjell National Park,very different in summer,but still snow on the summit.Many Musk Ox in this area as well as Moose.

Great area for exploring the Norweign Mountains,good access with Kongsvoll railway station and also near the main E6 highway.
