Mont Pourri

in 1996 i encountered several guided parties who departed from th ref Pourri, the laster 2 times I think I might have been alone. I suspect the route from the ref pourri is badly crevassed and judging from snow tracks most parties go via the col rochers from the gd col which has a chair lift only in the ski season. It's popular for ski ascents when this lift is open

Pourri means rotten, the local CAF has had a good lood for some decent rock to climb prob due to the name.

Great view from the top, and it's a good looking mountain from many angles, much reccommended and it's possible to drive an ordinary road vehicle to about 2600m elevation on the dirt track system leading towards the Gd Col
