Description
Very impressive volcano in the middle south Andes of Chile in the Laguna del Laja National Park near to Sierra Veluda range. Not with active lava but warm stones on top. Not dangerous. Top round view to the other volcanoes Lanin, Villarica, Llaima and Lonquimay. About 1100m vertical drop from ski station. Not to steep but very strenous because of the volcano ash. On top you can find ice caves to go in and make fantastic photos. On the base is Laguna del Laja,a beautiful green shimmering sea.
