Telescope Peak

Started the hike on a cold but calm morning at sunrise. Did not see another human soul on the whole trip. Just after starting the traverse after the sustained elevation gain I was startled by a herd of about 15 deer running down toward the Panamint Valley. The view from the summit was the most spectacular I've ever seen with the Sierra escaprment to the West and DV to the East. To this day I remember the air was the cleanest I'd ever encountered. Made it back to the car by 1300. Cannot wait to go back once the snow melts. I truly awesome experience.
