Velouchi

Description

In the heart of Central Greece, Mt Velouchi is a very attractive mountain where pure powder exists, in relation with others mountains around Greece. A populated ski resort is reached at 1840m. where several ski-lifts and a number of beginners slopes as well as for advanced skiers exist. From the hostel (ski area) it is about 1,30h walk/Ski tour to the top. (peak Psili Korfi 2315m.) Descending you will enjoy a 40-45 degree slope -800m.-long- skiing or "sliding" to the car park.
