Description
Punta Nera is a peak right over Cortina d'Ampezzo in the Sorapiss group. It rises abruptly above the town, with a proeminence of 1800m. The summit can be reached only with some climbing I and II UIAA. No protections, the ascent must be taken with caution. Great mountain, it has only a few climbs each year, which makes the climb most rewarding. Breathtaking views, severe alpine environment.
