Description

Monarch Mountain is located at the Southern end of the Tweedmuir South Provincial Park and lies within the Monarch Icefield. Monarch's long north ridge divides the Upper Talchako Glacier to the West and the North and South Horse Shoe Glacier to the East. Monarch also has a prominent South Ridge as well as moderately steep West Face and East Face. Climbing Monarch Mountain is as other Peaks of the region being mixed Snow, Ice and Rock.
