Description

The West Temple is one of the iconic landmarks of Zion National Park in southwest Utah. It is situated north of Mount Kinesava and south of the Towers of the Virgin. As typical of the other rock formations in the vicinity, its made of Navajo Sandstone and created by erosive forces of running water. The Virgin River runs a little bit to its east, and on the opposite side of the river and canyon is The East Temple.
