Description
The Torbina or Turbina is the highest peak of the Sierra del Cuera, showing an east-west orientation for more than 40 km, near the Cantabrian Sea. The Cuera mountain range is located in the Asturias province, northern of the Picos de Europa Massif . This mountain range is mainly composed of calcareous rocks, that form the highest peaks, with some interbedded quartzitic sandstones.
