Description
Placlivo is one of the principal peaks of Western Tatras, of the range called Rohace. It is situated within the main ridge, between peaks Tri Kopy and Ostry Rohac. The easiest way to the summit leads from the South, from Ziarske saddle (walk up). The western approach from Smutne saddle, as well as the eastern route from neighbouring Ostry Rohac, is rockier (light scramble). Certainly one of the most beautiful peak of the central Rohace ridge. The name Placlivo in Slovak could mean something like "Crying peak".
