Description
The Mount Sanitas trail is a short trail located just west of Boulder, Colorado. It is about three miles round trip and even though it is short it has a few hard sections of scrambling. the views are wonderful and it is a great place to bring dogs on a leash. There are a few points in the hike where you think you are at the top but then you get to the "top" and see that you are no where close. But the view is rewarding and the hike down is much much faster that it is going up.
Come prepared bring appropriate hiking boots/shoes,and lots of water on the trail there is a ridge line of rock blocking the trail from the east blowing wind so bring water. And most importantly have fun.
