Description
Mount Tamalpais is the highest peak in Marin County, California, just North of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. It is located within Mount Tamalpais State Park, and features redwood groves, oak woodlands, and a spectacular view from the summit. It has a road nearly to the summit, and an old lookout that is closed.
