Description

The Cerro Colorado is one of the highest in the Cordon del Plata is seldom visited because of its difficulty. His face east, snowfall occurs almost all year making it very difficult to traverse without ice climbing as well as its southeast side where there is a steep glacier pitch. Presents technical challenges in its final part consists of towers of granite stone. Definitely a great challenge.

El cerro Colorado es otro de los altos del Cordón del Plata, es poco visitado por su dificultad. Su cara Este, se presenta nevada casi todo el año haciendo muy difícil su travesía sin hacer escalamiento en hielo al igual que su cara sureste donde se encuentra un glaciar de pronunciado grado de inclinación. Presenta dificultades técnicas en su parte final que consta de torreones de piedra granito. Definitivamente un gran desafío.
