Description
The volcano Bertrand shelter is accessible from the national highway, to 4000msnm, this shelter is very economical and has approx. 30 beds or more, a dining room where each climber dispodne the kitchen to cook your own food, it also has two hot water showers, very friendly but it is more than just a shelter.
Since the refuge is a desnivwel VOLAC of 1250m and 10.5 km round trip the same from way back.
The crater has a diameter of 2km and reference coordinates are listed here for your top, recently at this point can be seen the mouth of the volcano.
