Description
White Cap is the highest peak between Katahdin and the Bigelow Range. Its open alpine summit has great views of all the mountains in the region including one of the best views of Katahdin. While the climb itself is relatively steep, the real challenge is getting to a trailhead as this peak is in the heart of the 100 mile wilderness. Any access requires long travel over dirt roads.
