Description

Balmenhorn is rock island located southwest of Schwarzhorn on the Monte Rosa massif. It is neither a spectacular peak nor a popular climb except among climbers who aspire to climb all 4000 meter peaks in the European Alps. The summit can be reached easily from the Gnifetti Hut.
