Description
Schwarzhorn, also known as Corno Nero, is an often-overlooked peak in the Monte Rosa range, on the southern side of the Lepontine Alps. It has a prominent rock top, rising above a 50 degree snow slope. It is beautifully situated between the peaks of Ludwigshoehe and Piramide Vincent, and is therefore often climbed in a traverse along the high ridge.
