Description

Mount Sunflower is the high point in the state of Kansas. It is located in Western Kansas, less than one mile from the Colorado state line. This high point is located on private grazing land, but visitors are welcome. There is no perceptible summit other than the monument that marks its location, but like much of Western Kansas the views of the surrounding plains are expansive.
