Description
Mount Nathan is a peak in Mount Cook National Park and is close in proximity to Mount Cook itself. It should be climbed in New Zealand's summer months of December to February. It has a height of 2804 metres and is in the heart of New Zealand's Southern Alps of the South Island. It is a beautiful peak to come across and provides a good
photo opprtunity. It is not well known to tourists, however, as a Kiwi myself, it is a great secret that is covered up by Mount Cook as all mountains in the Southern Alps are dwarfed by it.
