Allalinhorn

I had promised myself this winter, when I was skiing on the Fee Glacier,that this summer I had to come back to go to the top of Allalinhorn.

So, the weather for the whole week was nice, why waiting ?

Nice climbing with a mountain guide. It was my second +4000 ! Started at 9 am with a clear sky and plenty of sunshine, we were on the top at 11.30am. What a view you have in all directions : Strahlhorn, full Monte Rosa mountain chain, Breithorn (last year my first 4000!), Matterhorn, Mont-Blanc, Weisshorn, Dent Blanche, Grand Combin, Bernese Alps, Big Aletsch Glacier, ... Even Glarus Alps, Engadin and Graubunden Alps. Saas-Fee and turning restaurant Mittelallalin look so small !! Amazing depth on the ski runs below. 1 hour to go down. There were little crevasses where we had to jump over.

Next winter I will remember my climbing to this top when I'm going back to ski again.

I will recommend to do this climb to everyone as a beginning climber. Only with a mountain guide !
