Description
Santa Ana volcano ( also know as Ilamatepec) is El Salvador's highest volcano, is a massive, 2381 meters high stratovolcano that rises immediately west of Coatepeque caldera. Although the volcano crater can be reached walking the climb shouldn't be undertaken by anyone with a heart condition.
