Description

Mount Persis is located immediately southwest of the town of Index, Washington. Persis is prominently visible from town although it is upstaged by the more impressive Mount Index immediately to its east. The north and east faces of Persis rise dramatically above the Skykomish River valley below. The west ridge provides a trail and scramble to the summit which can be hiked in one easy day.
