Description

kedarnath peak is situated in the garhwal himalayas in the state of uttaranchal.valley of kedarnath is dominated by kedarnath peak(6940m/22770ft) surrounded by kedar dome(6831m)and sumeru parbatchorabari glacier is the base for kedarnath peak.it is situated in one of the most religious places of hindus in india.kedarnath peak is connected to kedar dome by a massive avalanche ridge.it is situated south of gangotri glacier.it is however a challenging mountain to climb.
