The south face of Mount Drum, from the southeast, with Snider Peak (8200 feet) on the right side of the photo. This photo was taken from the Willow Lake scenic view point on the Richardson Highway, south of Copper Center, Alaska, in January 2009. The temperature was 36 degrees below zero Fahrenheit.
Taken September 2002 from the west on the Glenn Highway, just outside of Glennallen. Mt. Drum is the mountian in the center, the one to the left is Mt. Sanford, the one to the right is Mt. Wrangell. From this angle they all appear to be the same height due to the fact that Mt. Drum although 4,000 ft shorter is 20 miles closer than the others.
