The Paine Park National Park in Chile is at the end of the Southern Patagonia ice cap. It is famous for the three towers, of which the Torre del sur (south tower) is the tallest. There are at least five routes up the granite spire.
Winds can reach 100 miles and hours and the area is known for severe weather.
