In reply to David Isles' entry, I think the other climber on his 1966 team was Les Wilson, father of David Wilson, who, in about 1998, with Andy Selters of Bishop, CA, tried to repeat the 1966 south summit route, but they were turned back by unconsolidated snow on the summit ridgeline. Leif Patterson died in the mid-70s in an avalanche in Canada.
