Mount Williamson

There were 6 of us who successfully climbed Mt Williamson via the West Face. We camped the 1st night an Anvil Camp. The 2nd day there was a lot of icy snow below Shephard's pass - we put crampons on for a while. The 2nd night we camped near the 2nd lake above the pass. The gully was a bit icy and eventually all of us used crampons for part of the way up. Some of us were belayed for the class 3 portion at the top of the gully.

It was an impressive, remote summit! We ended up hiking up point 13,200 and getting back a couple of days later.
