Description
Trabzon is the best city to start. Demirkapı is the highest peak in Trabzon province. Not a steep trail makes it a moderate hike in good weathe,in July and August.Lakes surrounding the peak relaxes one and they are rewarding for those who climb it.It doesn't need special authorisation of entry. The mountain range is probably the cleanest mountain in Turkey.
A diary notebook has been on top of the mountain since 2001 left by the mountaineering club TEDAK.
