Wheeler Peak

ABsolutely a perfect day for hiking this beautiful mountain. We had some clouds move in around ll:00 a.m., but they soon moved on. ABout l0 people were at the peak.

There is a USGS marker at the top, but it does not have a notation for elevation, though we all know what the elevation is.

This hike, because of its short length, is a good conditioning hike. It's not as tiresome as Mt. Charleston near Las Vegas.

The views are excellent.
