Description

There is a road going to the top, or you can hike up from Larkspur, CO. If you want to reach the top by car, just drive on I-25 past Monument until you see the sign saying Monument Hill: 7352 feet. If you want to hike up, go on Rampart Range Road past the small town of Larkspur off the 25. After you go about 2 miles out of town you'll see a big sign saying Monument Hill trailhead. Keep following the signs to the trailhead. Park in the small dirt parking lot and start hiking. The hike is about 4 miles round trip. It is very easy and scenic with great views of Pike's Peak. A very worthwhile hike.
