Description
Lliwedd is one of the sister peaks of Snowdon and part of the Snowdon horseshoe. It is a near sheer drop on its North side, down to Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw, which provides from grade three scrambles to full on multi pitch rock climbing. (Mallory did some of his first climbs here)It is a rarely visited peak outside of the summer months and a challenging peak in winter conditions. In dry conditions it is considered a grade 1 scramble. In winter it is not to be tackled lightly.
