Description
Malchin is a rounded easy peak in the alpine massif of Tavan Bogd in Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Takes a whole days drive, and one day walk to reach the mountain foot from the town of Ölgyi. Extraordinary beutiful mountainlandscape with steep snowy peaks and big glaciers, the biggest is Potuninii glacier 23 km2. From Malchin you are close to the highest peak Khuiten 4374 masl, a heavily snowdrenched mountain wich offer good snowclimbing. Lots a virgin peaks south of it, closer to the Chinese border. Marvelous trekkingcountry. I have lots of photos.
