Description
Fleetwith Pike is best known for the mass of rock on its flank: Honister Crag. This gives the mountain an immediately recognisable profile from the NW across the waters of Buttermere. The mountain itself offers superb views down the Buttermere, Crummock, and Loweswater valleys. Once the summit is gained, the walker can then quickly gain the higher plateau of land beyond.
