Description
Mt Townsend is located north west across the valley from Mt Kosciuszko and opposite abbott peak. An easy 2 hour walk from the kozi trail to the summit, a bit of a scramble at the summit. A much more impressive view than from mt kosciuszko, and much more rewarding. A stone / cement block marks the summit.
Thanks to Daniel Lowery for this description.
