Description

A fine mountain, particularly if climbed as part of the "Fairfield Horsehoe", taking in Nab Scar, Heron Pike, Great Rigg, Hart Crag, Dove Crag and High Pike (approx 12 miles). Best done in the order given above, starting from Rydal (bus from Ambleside) and returning via High Sweden Bridge to Ambleside.
