Description
Mount Haidinger, 3068 metre, is located in the Mount Cook National Park, in the South Island of New Zealand. The approach from the South, from the Tasman Glacier, up rotten scree and rock to the upper snow. From the West the approach is much easy. From Pioneer Hut, the approach is up the Fox Glacier. This area is most popular on the West Coast side of Mount Cook. The Pioneer Hut, is fully serviced, but cooking fuel and stoves are not longer supplied. The Hut has15 bunks, and emergencie radio.
