Description
The name translates as 'The Peak of the Peaks' and is the highest peak south of Ben Nevis. Awesome climbing in both summer and winter with a proliferation of routes at all grades of difficulty. Old and modern classics sit side by side and access is usually 1-1.5 hrs to the foot of the cliffs. It is a complex massif worthy of exploration and the views from the summit are world class. There are many technically simple but strenuous ways to the summit, but respect is due in winter.
