Mount Rainier

Summited with Gaylynn Burton, James S. Burton, Jeff Kofurd, and Brandon Kofurd via the Dissapointment Cleaver Route. Time for us was 3:55 from Paradise to Muir, 5:25 from Muir to Summit (left at 2:15 AM), 3:30 summit to Muir, and 2:00 Muir to Paradise. We were all in good physical shape due to several months of training for this adventure. There was snow all the way from the parking lot. The sunrise on the summit slopes was a highlight of the trip and one of those life experiences. A storm came in from the Northwest but hovered below 9,000 feet which made the climbing look like we were in the Himalaya's (at least what I would picture). Great Mountain!
