Mount Meru

I started from Miriakamba Hut (2520 m) at 7:20 a.m. . At 9:30 a.m. I was at Saddle Hut (3570 m). There I had to wait for lunch so that I was able to start again at 11:05 p.m. with Janesi Mgoroba (park guide). The climb was easy and quickly done. At 1:45 p.m. we were at the summit under beautiful skies. It was fantastic. Three days after, on sept 4th, I reached Uhuru Peak. It was done at age 50.
