Folger Peak

Description

Peak sits just North of Highland Lakes. An established trail leads from the parking lot at the lower lake to the summit (south approach). A summit bid can also be made from the East, however loose scree climbing will be done the last 400 feet. This peak offers views of the Carson Iceburg Wilderness and well as the surrounding areas of beauty. Total evelvation gain is ~1280 feet with 1-3 hour total climb time. Camping is located at the lakes with great natural brook trout fishing in both lakes.
