Mount McKinley

Kevin summited Denali on week after proposing to me. He was on his way to Denali via Mt. Foraker June 2002 with two of his brothers, one of whom had also summited Denali, when the three of them were tragically killed in an avalanche. Denali was one of Kevin's favorite mountains. It will remain one of mine, despite it's tragedy. Kevin was 27, Travis was 21, and Colby was 15. Had they summited Denali, all four Strawn Brothers would have been on the top, tho not all at the same time.

Incidentally, one of Kevin's group when he sumitted the first time was also killed on Denali, June 2001. Another of the team has since given up climbing.
